One of the most important and humanitarian initiatives of our charity foundation is a project implemented in District 7 of Kabul city. This project was designed to support schools facing severe economic and educational hardships, with students coming from highly vulnerable backgrounds, including orphans and children in need.

During our field assessments, we encountered schools that, due to a lack of financial resources, were deprived of even the most basic educational facilities. The classrooms lacked desks and chairs, books, pens, stationery, and other essential learning materials. Moreover, the building conditions of some of these schools were alarming; classrooms were unpainted, lacked proper heating or cooling, and in some cases, even basic hygiene facilities were absent.

In response, our charity foundation launched a support initiative to help alleviate some of these challenges. In the first phase of the project, we focused on providing essential learning materials for the students. Working closely with teachers and school management, our team compiled a list of needs. Based on this, we implemented clean drinking water systems, repaired restrooms, and assisted in the construction of new classrooms.

Part of the project budget was also allocated to repairing classrooms. Broken walls were fixed and repainted, and with the creation of a relatively more suitable environment, the learning atmosphere for children became more bearable. This small intervention had a significantly positive psychological impact on students and increased their motivation to attend school.

This project not only addresses educational needs but also aims for a deeper goal: to create hope, establish educational justice, and provide equal learning opportunities. We believe that education is the key to saving societies, and no Afghan child should be deprived of it because of poverty.

The “Support for Deserving Schools” project continues, and with the support of generous donors, we hope to reach even more schools. We sincerely thank all the partners and volunteers who collaborated with us in implementing this program.
