About Yuma Muranushi

Entrepreneur | Philanthropist | Peace Activist | Visionary

Yuma Muranushi (村主悠真) is a Japanese-born entrepreneur, philanthropist, and peace advocate whose life’s work bridges business innovation with global compassion. Born in Tokyo in 1982, Yuma’s journey began with an entrepreneurial spark in his teenage years. He quickly found success, but more importantly, he discovered a deeper purpose: using his resources to uplift others and create lasting, positive change in the world.

At the age of 28, Yuma shifted his focus entirely from profit to purpose. He left behind the corporate world and dedicated himself fully to philanthropy. Since then, his mission has been clear—to spread education, peace, and hope to every corner of the globe.

Founder of the maaaru Project

Education is at the heart of Yuma’s work. As the founder of maaaru, he has helped establish and operate over 200 schools worldwide, particularly in underserved and developing regions. The maaaru project aims to provide accessible, high-quality education to children who otherwise might never see the inside of a classroom. These schools are not just buildings—they are beacons of hope, opportunity, and empowerment for future generations.

President of the Nippon Donation Foundation

Yuma also leads the Nippon Donation Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports diverse social initiatives including child welfare, environmental conservation, food security, and community development. Through this foundation, Yuma channels resources where they are needed most, responding to both local and global issues with care and urgency.

Creator of the PEACE! PEACE! PEACE! Project

Driven by a deep desire for a more harmonious world, Yuma launched the PEACE! PEACE! PEACE! Drop Peace Project, a global art and dialogue initiative. Through large-scale public installations and interactive exhibits, the project invites people from all walks of life to reflect on peace, humanity, and coexistence. It has gained international attention for its creative and spiritual approach to promoting global harmony.

Spiritual Innovator – Jigen Meisou Meditation

Beyond education and peacebuilding, Yuma is also a guide in the realm of inner peace. He created Jigen Meisou, a unique form of meditation that blends traditional Japanese mindfulness with modern self-awareness techniques. This practice is rooted in his personal journey of spiritual growth and is now shared with thousands of people seeking clarity, healing, and peace within.

“Peace is not a

distant dream—it begins within, and it spreads through our actions.”
